Our story

LullaPages began, as the best stories do, at bedtime. We're a husband and wife, but more importantly a mum and dad, and like every parent we've read the same shelf of bedtime stories more times than we can count. Somewhere along the way we noticed a little magic trick: the moment our daughter heard her own name in a story, or spotted a place she actually knew, everything changed. Her eyes widened. The wriggling stopped. Suddenly the story wasn't something being read to her; it was something happening around her.

Every parent knows why. Children listen longest and dream biggest when a story is theirs: their name, their town, their favourite teddy, their obsession with fairies or diggers or the local football pitch. But the books on the shelf were always about somebody else, somewhere else. So one evening, after yet another request to put her and her dolly into the story, we decided to stop improvising and start building a book starring our little girl, her favourite people and her most-loved toys. Then we realised every child deserves one.
